I created a product and packaging for a project that was based on a character from a TV show or movie. I chose Ron Swanson from the show Parks and Recreation to be the inspiration for my project. Ron is known for his bluntness and desire to just eat meat in its best form, on the grill. I created the series for Duke’s as a BBQ sauce, coffee rub, and seasoned salt. It was fun to create a product from the packaging, the labeling, and the overall concept of the design. I was able to construct strong typography and illustrations that work together in harmony to build a functional brand.
