Welcome to Art and Design by Jen! My name is Jen Guagliardi and I am a fine artist and graphic designer. I have always enjoyed fine art and as I got into college, my interest shifted to graphic design.  I originally pursued a degree in Studio Art but fell in love with Graphic Design and how it allows me to be creative in different mediums. As I have matured as a student and graphic designer and artist, I have desired to combine my artistic background in Studio Arts and my more recent love for Graphic Design. My graphic design work features floral and artistic elements coming together to create happy designs.  Stay tuned for more posts featuring my graphic design and fine art work!

I graduated from Liberty University in 2019 and pursued a degree of BS in Graphic Design with a minor in Studio Art.  I am proud to be actively involved in the artist communities of Southern Chester County, PA; Newark, DE; Elkton, MD; Lynchburg, VA; Pittsburgh, PA; and Greensboro, NC.

I focus more on my fine art and work in multiple mediums such as oil, watercolor, acrylic, soft pastels, and graphite. I enjoy working with multiple mediums and discovering different styles that match the personality of the specific medium. I range from oil landscapes with a classic style, to acrylic abstracts with colorful palettes, to realistic pet portraits with soft pastels or graphite. I also love learning different skills and fine-tuning my style to reflect who I am as an artist and what my message to the viewer should be. Whatever I create, whether it be digital or traditional, I want to make art that fills people with joy and is meaningful. That is especially impactful when my art connects with someone personally; either through a memorial of someone's pet, a landscape of a childhood home, an encouraging quote that helps someone through the day, or a colorful abstract painting that brightens a home.
